Modern Slavery Policy

Policy Statement

Published: April 2026

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It takes various forms, including slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour and human trafficking, all of which involve the deprivation of a person’s liberty by another in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain.

We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and are committed to preventing modern slavery in our operations and supply chains.

Our Business and Supply Chains

We operate our business in the United Kingdom and source ingredients and products exclusively from reputable, long-established UK and EU-based suppliers. We maintain long-standing relationships with our suppliers and are able to trace the supply of goods with their support.

We are committed to ensuring transparency in our own business and in our approach to tackling modern slavery throughout our supply chains. We expect all suppliers, contractors and business partners to uphold the same high standards of ethical conduct and compliance with labour and human rights laws.

Supplier Due Diligence

We take a proportionate, risk-based approach to managing modern slavery risks. This includes:

  • Periodic engagement with key suppliers regarding their anti-slavery and human rights policies;
  • Reviewing published Modern Slavery Statements where applicable;
  • Expecting suppliers to comply with all applicable UK and EU labour, employment, health and safety and human rights legislation.

Where concerns are identified, we will work with suppliers to seek appropriate corrective action and reserve the right to cease business relationships where standards are not met.

Employment Practices and Pay

We are committed to fair, lawful and safe employment practices. The Company strictly complies with all applicable UK and EU employment legislation, including equal opportunities, non-discrimination, health and safety and working time requirements.

We ensure that all employees:

  • Are of legal working age;
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK;
  • Have their identity and employment eligibility verified through appropriate documentation checks.
  • Remuneration for all employees is set above the UK National Living Wage, reflecting our commitment to fair pay and responsible employment practices.

Workplace Standards and Reporting

We are committed to providing a safe, respectful and inclusive working environment. Bullying, harassment or intimidation of any kind is not tolerated. Employees are made aware of disciplinary, grievance and appeal procedures.

We encourage employees and business partners to raise concerns about potential modern slavery or human rights issues. Any concerns raised will be taken seriously and investigated appropriately. Retaliation against anyone raising a genuine concern is prohibited.

Governance and Continuous Improvement

Responsibility for this policy sits with senior management, who are accountable for its implementation and effectiveness. We will keep this policy under review and continue to strengthen our approach to preventing modern slavery through:

  • Ongoing supplier engagement;
  • Periodic policy review;
  • Increased awareness of modern slavery risks within our business.
